Why would I choose to use virtual numbers?

Calls to virtual numbers can be routed anywhere.

1. You’re never tied to an office or location ever again


Your fixed phone lines end at your home or office - and that’s where calls to those lines end up. Yes, you can set up diverts but that’s a clunky, inflexible solution - especially if you're out and about or your colleagues are spread across locations. 


Calls to virtual numbers can be routed to existing phone lines, laptop phones, DIDs and mobiles wherever they may be. Set it up once and forget it. People who need to be contactable remain contactable. Your team can be spread across the planet yet, to the caller, it’s like you’re all in the same office. 


And that routing can be changed the moment you need to.


2. Your teams can be anywhere yet seem like they’re all in one place


A virtual number exists in the cloud so has no actual physical location. You can configure your numbers to ring on select phones, handsets and laptops - via software apps - and so operate as if your people are all in one room. They can dial over those numbers from wherever they are too. 


3. Choose numbers to present your firm in multiple geographical locations


You can give your firm a UK-wide feel by selecting virtual numbers with different area codes. 


For example, choose numbers beginning ‘020’ and ‘0121’ and ‘0131’ and you now have a presence in London, Birmingham and Edinburgh. Which gives local reassurance - while making your company look quite a bit bigger than it might actually be.
